Fall Family Weekend Registration

Registration for Fall Family Weekend will open Monday, August 5 at 1:30 p.m. EDT. Detailed information regarding registration instructions will be shared via email to all active members of the Tennessee Family Association prior to registration opening. 

Registration for Fall Family Weekend 2024 has closed as we have reached capacity for the weekend. 

 

Family Weekend General Admission: $50 per guest (including children and UT students)

General Admission includes access events & activities throughout the weekend, as well as a Family Weekend t-shirt, swag, and additional registration materials.

Note: To participate in fall family weekend, tickets are required for all family members, guests, and accompanying students. A maximum of 8 total tickets can be purchased by each family.


Tennessee Family Tailgate (not included in General Admission):  $25 per guest (including children and UT students)

Start your Vols game day with a delicious tailgate in the Student Union. We’ll have food, fun, and games for families and students to enjoy. Registrants will receive a wristband for admission to the event.

Tennessee Family Beer Garden (not included in General Admission): $15 per guest (must be 21 or older to participate)

Exclusive beer garden for TN Family Tailgate featuring local beers, ciders, and seltzers. Admissions covers a wristband, 2 drink tickets, light refreshments, and a koozie souvenir. Must be 21 or older to participate.


Brunch with your Vol: $12 per person (including children and UT students)

See what it’s like to eat like a Vol with your student in Rocky Top Dining on Sunday, September 15 from 8:30 a.m.- Noon. Use this time to connect and visit with other families as we conclude a great Family Weekend! 

UT students who have a meal plan may use a meal swipe to enter the brunch and can use their guest meals to cover their family members and guests. Students who don’t have a meal plan may use their Flex Plan or Credit/Debit Card and pay at the door. Family members and guests who cannot utilize their student’s guest meals can purchase their meal ticket for brunch ahead of time.

Football Tickets

After completing your registration, you have the option to purchase football tickets to the UT vs. Kent State football game in the Family Weekend section. You will be provided a link  to the UT Athletics Ticket site via FEVO to complete this second transaction. 

Guests tickets will be available in the upper and lower levels in the stadium starting at $61.60. All tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note: If you have previously purchased athletics tickets through the UT Athletics Ticket Office (allvols.com), you will need your account login information (e-mail address and password). Please contact the ticket office prior to Family Weekend registration to obtain this information. Family Experience does not have access to your Athletics login information.

UT Student Football Tickets

If your student plans to sit with you at the football game, you need to do two things:

  1. Register your student for Fall Family Weekend. When you complete your registration, you must check “YES” to the question “I will purchase a football ticket for this student” in order to sit with your student.
  2. In the football ticket system, you will select and purchase a discounted student ticket for $20. You must purchase your student a ticket in the same transaction as your family’s tickets in order for all seats to be located together.

Students who plan to attend the football game but DO NOT want to sit with families will still have the opportunity to enter the student lottery process through Big Orange Tix during the regular ticket claim period in September. If your student decides to enter the ticket lottery, we cannot guarantee that they will be selected for a ticket.

The student ticket rate for the Fall Family Weekend block of tickets is only available for the student(s) associated with your Tennessee Family Association membership. Other students registered as guests will need to pay for a regularly priced ticket in the Fall Family Weekend block.

Additional Information

Refund Requests

Due to the nature of processing, planning, and event coordination, Family Experience is unable to offer full refunds to Family Weekend registrants at any time. If you need to modify or cancel your registration, please contact us at family@utk.edu. The deadline for modifications and cancellations is Wednesday, August 21. 

Fall Family Weekend will take place except in the most severe weather conditions. In the event of rain, all activities will take place as scheduled, possibly in alternate locations. However, in the event of severe weather such as lightning, Family Experience, together with the University of Tennessee may elect to delay or cancel any part of Family Weekend at any time. Photo Release

There will be professional photography services on-site at Family Weekend and other Family Experience events. The Family Experience reserves the right to use these pictures in publications and on University of Tennessee website(s) as it sees fit.
