The mission of the Family Advisory Council is to foster communication between the campus community and current families to improve the overall quality of the Volunteer Experience.
Members of the Family Advisory Council must be a family member of a current full-time undergraduate or graduate student. Family members of undergraduate students must be of a rising sophomore or above. Council Members must:
- Attend virtual Welcome & Orientation on Wednesday, August 10 at 1pm (EST)
- Attend monthly virtual advisory board meetings*
- Volunteer at one event per academic year (Fall Family Weekend, Spring Family Reunion, Family Appreciation Week)
- Support the Parents and Families Endowment with a gift of personal significance
*Note: Two advisory board meetings per academic year will be held on campus.
